We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations at our Hilcote site. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all maintenance activities to ensure efficient operation of machinery and equipment.
The Role
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures, strategies and programs
- Manage and supervise the maintenance engineering team (approximately 20 reports)
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve issues
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialised repairs
- Develop a culture of Continuous Improvement
- Manage the Repairs and Maintenance budget, as well as any capital investment projects across the business
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
The Candidate
Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Proven experience in maintenance management
- Strong project management skills
- Mechanical knowledge
- Previous line management experience and be able to lead the maintenance team effectively
- Be able to communicate at all levels
- Proficient IT skills
- Current knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
Desirable Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Project management using business standard methods (MS Project)
- 18th Edition Electrical Installation qualification
- Degree qualification in an Engineering discipline
